The eclipse reaches totality. I put two tele-extenders on my 80-200mm lens to get enough power to make this a viable shoot. I had a blast shooting over the course of 5 1/2 hours in the middle of the night. I'd get up, shoot and then go back to bed for 15 minutes. I repeated this over and over until I had the entire sequence of the eclipse.
Stars over the West Fork of Oak Creek.
Oh for a polarizer... My first attempt at shooting a solar eclipse was more challenging than I thought.
