Monsoon clouds are reflected in the chocolate colored waters of the Little Colorado River. The water is flat and calm before the big drop at Grand Falls. This seasonal flow during the spring and late summer looks like the blend in my daily cup of coffee and creamer.
Jones Crossing of East Clear Creek. This spot was teaming with life. The stream had frogs and tiny fish. There were all sorts of hopping and flying critters in the grass. The muddy banks were littered with all sort of animal tracks. It was so green and verdant, like a Garden of Eden where life seemed to get its start.
Knoll Lake on the Mogollon Rim is one of several man-made lakes. This popular trout fishing lake gets a lot of attention from the anglers. A nice campground nearby makes this an ideal summer escape.
