Grand Falls is north and east of Flagstaff on the Navajo Indian Reservation. The Little Colorado River drops 185 feet making it taller than much more famous Niagara Falls. This seasonal waterfall is fed by snow melt and summer monsoon rains. The falls are also known as the Chocolate Falls for the color of the river.
The sun sets over the West Fork of Oak Creek. This vista from Harding Point is hard to find. It took a couple trips to find this spot I'd seen on Google Maps.
Last light paints the granite rocks orange around Watson Lake with the snow capped San Francisco Peaks in the distance.
