(From above to the left) The Railroad Bridge, Light Rail Bridge and Mill Avenue Bridge all grace this photograph. The old steel Railroad Bridge built in 1912, looms next to the new Light Rail line's high-tech construction complete with a light show as trains pass through. Beyond the Light Rail line is the third crossing, the Mill Avenue Bridge.
The little bubbling froth at the water's edge under the Light Rail bridge is the SRP canal rerilling the lake after the July 2010 dam break. While I was shooting here, there was a steady stream of people coming up to see the spot where the water was rushing in. It was quite a spectacle. It would take several months for the lake to completely refill.
