I hadn't had enough and drove though Cottonwood and Clarksdale. This entire area is a photo safari all by itself. The towns were adorable with their bustling downtowns on the main drag through town. A mix of retirees, natives and tourists were frequenting the shops and restaurants.
Eventually, I found myself outside Tuzigoot National Monument, but it was closed. So, I set up my tripod as the sky did it's thing. And the nearly-full moon did too. There was very liittle wind... everything was still. The clouds, hovering in place, looked like they were melting as rain fell from beneath.
