This Aspen grove was adjacent to a wilderness area. As usual, Id scouted the entire area on Google Earth. I was searching for a thick grove of aspen to photograph, but never found it.

Aspen are incredibly long-lived. A single seedling can start an entire grove that may be centuries old. An indicator of an ancient forest? This grove had me feeling like I was in a pre-school...
