SNOW ON THE SAN FRANCISCO PEAKS

The Peaks received record amounts of snow fall in 2009-2010. Over 27 feet of snow made skiing at The Snow Bowl the best in years. One storm dropped over 90 inches on the top of the mountain. Over 200,000 people took advantage of the conditions. The boom to the economy of Flagstaff came at a time when the rest of the country was still reeling from the worst economy since the Great Depression in the 1920s and 1930s.
