FS 60 starts to drop down toward Tonto Creek and hook back up with Hwy 88. There was a terrific stream crossing right before getting back on the highway. It looked pretty intimidating, but the fresh, wet tracks let me know it was safe to cross. Always better safe than sorry...

The A-Cross Road is a fantastic scenic drive that probably eludes most people. I saw only a handful of cars and most people were at the Tonto Creek end where campgrounds and boat ramps were located. There were so many breathtaking campsites along this 24-mile stretch of road. The numerous splinter roads let you get as far off the main road and away from humanity as you wanted.
