CATHEDRAL ROCK AT RED ROCK CROSSING

Sizes

South of Sedona, Oak Creek flows past one of Arizona's scenic icons, Cathedral Rock. The view from Red Rock Crossing is one of the most recognizable scenics in the state. The orange-colored sandstone deposited during the Permian period is unique to the Sedona area.

Once part of an inland sea, wind and weather combined to chisel away at the sandstone to create the formations we see today.

Sedona continues to top the list of the most popular destinations in Arizona. Native Arizonans as well people from all over the world agree. There is nothing else like it.
