The road crosses one of two arms of Dry Wash. The textures from the wind were amazing and the sand was this light-gray, tan color that had a matte, metal-like quality. The landscape here was flat grassland for as far as you could see. These washes literally sparkled as you drove by them from all the tiny, glimmering, agate crystals in the sand.
