On the way up the park road to the Painted Desert sits this model A Ford. The old path of historic Route 66 runs through this spot. The roadway has been completely removed. The only evidence of the route is a small depression in the terrain. Native vegetation has erased any other sign of the road and is hardly noticable.

The patina on the metal was so cool. The top had this leather look. The sides more rusty-colored. Filtered light through a cloud gave the top a cooler tonal range.
