Point Sublime is on the north rim of the canyon, 20 some odd mlies on forest service roads west of Grand Canyon Village. Without crowds, railings and other obstructions, it's hard to beat this vantage point.
I spent the entire day here. I needed to decompress after my trials and tribulations in Marble Canyon. There was a steady stream of people in a variety of 4x4s. Most people only stayed 30 minutes or so. One group stayed long enough to have lunch.
I was a little taken back by this. It's such an amazing place. I sat under a shady tree right on the edge for a couple hours trying to absorb the beauty. Even if I visited 100 times, I doubt I could ever take it all in. It's just that overwhelming.
