A closer look at the fall colors...

A car-load of photographers parked near me and started hauling out their gear. One gentleman had a nice 5x7 view camera loaded with single exposure plate negatives. Talk about old school... And what a contrast in technology to my Nikon. I'd litterally taken hundreds of shots before they arrived. The shot above has 12 separate exposures blended together.

You can really see where the Schultz Fire stopped just above the aspen on the left. The grayish trees have burned. Somehow fire crews managed to save Lockett Meadow.
