This was my second trip to Flagstaff in as many weeks. The fall colors were going good in spots and the road to Lockett Meadow was open. A major fire the year before had closed the road. So, I was thrilled to hear the road was open. Lockett Meadow puts on quite a show and this was going to be a good year.

This small grove of aspen are near the trailheads to the Peaks. The larger aspen groves further up the trail, weren't showing off their fall colors yet...
