A FIRE IN CHERRY CREEK |
The link below shows the initial photo I took of a small fire in a side canyon near Cherry Creek. Overnight, the heavy smoke did not dissipate, but spread and settled into the entire valley. The difference in smoke from one day to the next couldn't have been more dramatic. I felt sorry for the firefighters that spent the night working under these conditions. There must have been no escaping the smoke... Strangely, from this vantage point you could barely smell any smoke. Click here to see the fire the day before. |
