APACHE LAKE OVERVIEW

Sizes
Apache Lake is probably the least visited of the string of lakes along the Salt River. Both Roosevelt Lake (upstream) and Canyon Lake (downstream) are much easier to drive to and offer more services. Roosevelt is very popular for fishing, camping and boating because of it's vast size, numerous boat ramps and well developed campgrounds. Apache, on the other hand, has a relatively small marina located in the middle of the lake and a public boat ramp/campground near the dam on the east end that restricts it's access. This gives Apache Lake more of a wilderness feel and is an experience like none other.
