I took Bloody Basin Road to the Verde River in Late August 2010. The monsoons were brewing in this area. I was up for some rain and I got it.

The desert was so green and teaming with life even though this shot does't show it. But around the river and all the stream crossings between I-17 and the Verde River, there was nothing but green...
